Experienced, Professional Drivers

Drivers for Royal Coachman undergo an exhaustive series of personal and professional background checks to ensure that everyone we hire is trustworthy, experienced, and fully dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience.

Our drivers have a minimum of two years’ experience as a commercial driver or chauffeur, a clean criminal history, and an impeccable driving record. They are fully committed to meeting all the needs of your most valued clients and employees.

We consider our chauffeurs the very best in the business. All are Royal Coachman employees – rather than private contractors.

We maintain a very high retention rate – believed to be the highest in the industry – with our chauffeurs averaging more than seven years of service with us. This is due, we believe, to our large book of business, our benefits package, our philosophy of treating employees the same way we treat our customers, our state-of-the-art technology, and our intensive, ongoing training and safety programs.

Royal Coachman chauffeurs can be easily identified by their crisp black suit, white shirt and company tie. All our chauffeurs undergo a stringent series of background screenings and training (by us as well as our insurance company and the state of New Jersey). The chauffeur background checks include criminal, drug & alcohol, DMV, social security verification – and our interview process ensures that each shows a strong work ethic with excellent customer service skills.

Royal Coachman chauffeurs receive both classroom and on-the-road training which includes classes in customer service, safe driving skills, and proper use of the latest technology, as well as on the road defensive driver training by a certified AAA Motor Club and Smith System certified defensive driving instructor.

A Luxurious, Well-Maintained Fleet

At Royal Coachman, we are proud to provide our passengers with a truly impressive experience that includes a smooth, comfortable ride in one of our diverse fleet of late-model luxury vehicles. Each car is meticulously maintained inside and out, and is kept in top running condition. We retire our vehicles long before they show any sign of wear or develop persistent operating issues to ensure a worry- and stress-free ride every time.

All of our cars follow both state and local regulations governing registration, inspection, and required markings, as set forth by applicable laws.

Full Comprehensive and Liability Insurance

Our drivers each carry high limits of liability auto insurance and name Royal Coachman as an insured entity. We also maintain additional coverage to ensure that, in the unlikely event of an accident, your needs are fully met and expenses paid.

Both Royal Coachman and its drivers maintain all relevant coverage in an effort to meet and exceed all state and local regulations. We also have a strict set of standards and procedures, which our drivers are trained to follow, to ensure your safety and security in the event an accident or other kind of emergency occurs.

Vehicle and Driver Tracking App

Our company’s mobile app allows passengers to track vehicles in real time via GPS interface. You always know where your car is and when it will arrive. Our app provides other valuable information as well, including specifics about your vehicle and a photo ID of your driver.

Insurance

We have $10 million (CSL) in Automobile Liability coverage. We have our primary $5 million dollar policy combined with an additional Auto Liability Excess policy of $5 million, bringing our total coverage to $10 million dollars. Our coverage exceeds all federal and state mandated limits.

Our general liability coverage is $1 million per occurrence and $2 million in aggregate. In addition, we have a $5 million dollar Excess General Liability policy above these limits bringing our total coverage to $6 million per occurrence.

Our workers compensation policy meets all state mandated requirements and Royal Coachman carries a $5 Million Employers Practices Liability Insurance policy as well as.

Finally, our Cyber Insurance provides a variety of insurance coverages for you and your organization in the event of a breach of data.  While we have never had a situation where Cyber Insurance was needed, we find in the environment we are in now with technology playing such a large part of all our businesses, that it is prudent make sure our customers, as well as Royal Coachman, are covered in the unlikely event of a data breach on our computers.
