5 Ways Entrepreneurs Can Stay Productive on an Airplane

Our Parsippany limousine chauffeurs know what it’s like to be productive, and we know many of our clients are entrepreneurs with very little downtime. Time is money and every second counts. When you’re on an airplane, you’re not able to perform many of the important tasks you need to perform to keep up with work, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make your flight as productive as possible. In fact, being stuck on a plane provides you with an excuse to become even more productive than ever before. You have time to work without interruption from the phone ringing, people coming into your office, or the daily distractions of your home. Our professionals know a thing or two about being productive in the air, and we’re here to share.

Get the Wi-Fi

If your flight offers free Wi-Fi or even Wi-Fi for a cost, get it. You now have a chance to access the internet, which means you can respond to emails you might not always have the time to respond to. It’s a good idea to do this in the air because you have the time.

Take to Social Media

If you work in a business that’s all about utilizing social media as a networking tool, make time to do this. You should respond to comments on your blog, comments on your social media posts or photos, and respond to direct messages sent to you by people you might not know looking to do business with you. It’s a great idea to use this time to get social even when you’re 36,000-feet in the air.

Clean Out the Clutter

If you’re anything like us, you receive hundreds of emails every day. You probably want to save some, not others, and you probably have a bunch of them just sitting in your inbox waiting to be organized into folders. Now is a great time to do that, and the same goes for deleting old photos that aren’t good or useful. You know the ones. You wanted to take a great picture of your new office, but you ended up taking 79 of them to get just the right shot. Now’s the time to delete the 78 that didn’t work for you. A clutter-free phone or device means you’re less cluttered in your mind.

Plan Content

Whether you’re a blogger or someone who uses social media to enhance your business, you can certainly use this time to generate some great content or at least plan for it. Create a content calendar, make notes, and plan social media posts. This is one of the best ways to use your time on a plane.

Finalize Trip Details

Now’s a great time to check into our NJ limo service chauffeur’s schedule to make sure he or she is on time and waiting, to find out what kind of car is waiting for you, or to update us on any changes to your itinerary. It’s a great time to email your hotel to discuss things you’d like to see in your room, to speak with the concierge via online chat to discuss reservations, or just to make reservations of your own.
